Managing Director
Ross graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh in 2007. He began his career working in large-scale civil engineering projects in Scotland, before returning to Ireland in 2012 to join John Mooney & Co., Consulting Engineers, a firm established by his father.
Ross has gained extensive expertise in wide variety of forensic engineering work, specialising in areas such as road traffic accidents, manual handling, slips trips and falls, as well as building defects.
In 2020 Ross became managing director of the practice.
Founder
John Mooney is a highly accomplished engineer with decades of experience across multiple disciplines. After graduating from University College Galway in 1970, John worked in both the private and public sectors before establishing his own practice, John Mooney & Co., Consulting Engineers, in 1983.
Since founding the firm, John has successfully completed thousands of structural, civil, and forensic engineering projects, earning a reputation for excellence and reliability in the industry.
Office Manager
Geraldine Norman has been a vital member of the John Mooney & Co. team since joining the firm in 2013. As an integral part of the practice, Geraldine plays a key role in coordinating the engineers' schedules, arranging inspections, and managing a wide range of administrative responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of the firm.
